How Do I Prepare for Dysport Treatment?

There is no real special preparation needed for Dysport injections. Our team does recommend not drinking alcohol or taking any blood thinning medications for 48 hours before your treatment, as these can cause and increase bruising. Bringing a photo of yourself from 5 to 10 years can help your injector understand your aesthetic goals and have a good idea of your youthful appearance.

What is a Dysport Treatment Session Like?

Our injection specialist will apply a topical numbing cream to make the experience comfortable. After the effects of the numbing cream set in, we will administer Dysport in several carefully selected points between and above your eyebrows. The treatment is essentially painless. Once complete, you can simply return to your day. It is advised that you skip any exercise for the first 24 hours and that you do not lie down for four hours following your treatment. Most of our clients experience very little, if any, swelling, bruising or bleeding.

When Will I See My Dysport Results?

You should see results start to develop over two to three days after treatment. The complete results can take about a week. Once your final results are visible, you will enjoy this youthful, refreshed effect for three to five months and in the case of less intense wrinkles, possibly longer.

Your results will begin to fade over time. At this point, you should return for another brief treatment. If you have more consistent sessions, you should notice that you require smaller doses and less frequent treatments.

Dysport is most commonly used on the lines and wrinkles between the eyebrows, but it is also effective on the following areas:
